The Los Angeles community is rolling out its welcome mat for Mata Amritanandamayi, the internationally renowned humanitarian. Mata Amritanandamayi, better known as Amma, recipient of the prestigious United Nation’s Gandhi-King Award, will be holding programs at a Los Angeles area hotel on June 16-21 as part of her 2008 US and World Tour.
Through the example of her own life, Amma has inspired people from all over the world to walk the path of selfless service and compassion toward others. Her multiple organizations direct vast humanitarian activities worldwide. Indeed, The Washington Post has compared Amma to Mother Theresa and Mahatma Gandhi.
Amma’s annual visits to Los Angeles are well covered by major media outlets. The charitable works of Amma have been well documented by international media, who has dubbed her “The Hugging Saint”, including ABC Evening News with Peter Jennings, BBC News, NPR Public Radio, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Reuters, Good Morning America and many others.
We would like to present you a unique opportunity to be a Tour Sponsor of this event. This multi-day program typicallyattracts thousands of people per day who come to be in Amma’s presence and hear Amma’s simple message of love.
As part of the tour publicity, 200 street banners announcing Amma’s Los Angeles Program will be installed at key locations throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay. These banners will be prominently displayed for 30 days at major thoroughfares with high traffic volume. Additionally, thousands of flyers and posters will be distributed at key businesses in Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara, San Diego Counties and their surrounding communities, with information of Amma’s upcoming programs at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel.

MA Center is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax laws. Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
The Tour Sponsor requests and artwork must be received by May 20, 2008.
